Flights from Nairobi to Angama Mara

There are several flights from Nairobi to Angama Mara. The quickest and most convenient way to reach Angama Mara from Nairobi is by scheduled flight from Wilson Airport. Several local airlines, including SafariLink and Air Kenya, operate daily flights between Nairobi's Wilson Airport and the Mara North Airstrip or Kichwa Tembo Airstrip , which is just a short drive from Angama Mara. These flights take approximately 60 minutes and offer stunning views of the Maasai Mara and its wildlife along the way.

Upon arrival at the Mara North Airstrip, guests will be met by a representative from Angama Mara and transferred to the lodge in the comfort of a private vehicle. The drive takes approximately 45 minutes, and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

He responded immediately and gave me multiple options. Once I picked the package I wanted, he quickly made all the arrangements. They sent someone to meet me Wilson airport in person to give me details about what to expect on my Safari and even a gift! The tour guide/driver in the Maasai Mara was outstanding! I saw the Big Five and tons of animals — all unbelievably close. I got to see a cheetah make a successful kill and a pair of lions mating. It was wild in the best way. All the logistics were handled and everything went smoothly from start to finish. My night in the Mara was truly magical. I’m already thinking of how I can get back and do it again! I started planning this trip four months from when I wanted to visit with my family (2 young kids). David and his team were instantly responsive providing excellent recommendations on where to stay and options for what to do. The Holiday Dealers showed great flexibility when our flights altered from the original plans and when we wanted to make last-minute adjustments to our trip for the final day.

Every driver we had in Nairobi and the Maasai Mara was on time and considerate. Notably, I’m so thankful for going with The Holiday Dealer’s recommendation to use one of their Maasai game drivers, Stanley. Stanley was fantastic and great with our kids. He showed us so much and we learned a lot about the animals, land, and the Maasai tribe.
